Sebao is a largely self-taught painter born in France and based in Paris.

Having spent his childhood in a multicultural environment, Sebao has always been passionate about the myths and legends of various cultures, both Western and Eastern.

Sebao has been a fan of creative activities, especially drawing, since a very young age. This practice has evolved, and acrylic has become his medium of choice; the exploration of textures has led the artist to incorporate other elements such as wood, paper, resin, or gold leaf into his works.

Sebao draws inspiration from his many travels, particularly in Europe, Asia, and Australia. This is evidenced by his signature, Sebao, which is none other than the nickname the artist acquired while working in Japan. Inspiration comes from both local folklore and legends, as well as from the materials he encounters, such as traditional Japanese paper.

Wishing to share his artistic vision, Sebao has exhibited regularly since 2022 and his works are held in private collections in France, the Netherlands and the United States.

Seeking to develop her practice within a dynamic framework, Sebao is represented by the Horizon World Art gallery and is a member of the Taylor Foundation
